Use less loft from a bunker to land it and run it out
For a shot going uphill, the instructor takes less loft so the ball lands and runs out, rather than trying to spin a 56 all the way to the pin. Using the lower-lofted club suits an uphill pin because the ball releases forward instead of stopping.
