Rehearse to the exact same spot, then hit the shot

The coach suggests copying how the player rehearses before each shot. He runs the rehearsal once, twice, sometimes three times with both hands until he gets to the exact same spot, even pausing or going slow to guarantee that spot, and only then hits the shot.
