Anchor a calm keyword like 'cool' to use on course
The instructor describes using a keyword to condition calm. After you have relaxed all the way to the top of your head, on every exhale you say a word like 'cool' or 'smooth' so it becomes associated with the calm state (classical conditioning). Then on the course you focus on your breathing, do your relaxation, and say the word to get into a calmer state, having trained your body off the course.
