Cut it down the slope, hook it up the slope
The instructor's governing rule for short-game shots off slopes: if it's down (a downslope or ball below your feet) you cut it, and if it's up (an upslope or ball above your feet) you hook it. Cutting means going out-to-in with a fade, which steepens the attack.
