Check your chip finish position for feedback
For a standard low-to-medium greenside shot, Craig Hanson describes a target finish position to check: the trail wrist curved, the lead wrist flat/level, the shaft and left arm in one line, and the right palm pointing skyward. To practice, mimic that finish position, then swing back from there and return to it. Look down at your hands, and if the trail wrist has no angle and the left wrist is cupped, readjust. He says this end position gives great feedback.

- the trail wrist having a curve in it, the lead wrist being level, flat, and the shaft in the left arm being in one extension
- keeping the right hand, the right palm, pointing upwards, skywards on this type of shot
- We can swing back from there and into the finish
- If you notice that you've got no angle in the trail wrist and the left wrist is cupped, then readjust it
