Rotate, don't roll, on a ball-above-feet chip

With the ball above your feet it plays as an 'up' lie, so you hook it: shallow from the inside with a draw feel and work in-to-out so the club follows the slope rather than fighting it. Play the ball just forward of center with a slightly lower right shoulder, aim a little right, stay wide and clip it. The key checkpoint is that you must not roll the club behind you; it's a rotation, and you should watch the clubface gently turn over through impact.
