Drive the lead hand to flight the ball lower

The instructor wants to clean up what the host's lead hand does at impact. He notes that at times the lead hand is not driving in as hard as needed, so the ball gets up in the air and the elements dictate its flight. Driving the lead hand harder makes the ball pierce and stay more mid-flight, which he says gives more control over the golf ball.
