Get your lead shoulder above your lead ear at impact
As a way to gauge how well you move through the ball, Craig Hanson says to look at where the lead (left) shoulder is and how high you can get it through impact. He calls it a great checkpoint that the lead shoulder is higher than your lead ear when you really get into impact, describing this as a shallowing characteristic that helps get a separation from your bottom half to your top half.
