Set your chip and run stance: narrow, weight left, handle up
For a basic chip and run, set a very narrow stance (about one clubhead between the middle of your feet, two between your toes), push your weight over your left foot so your shoulder is over that foot, and keep the handle up. Those are the key setup checkpoints.
