Never under-read a putt — err high
Over-reads can still drop but under-reads never can. The speaker says the physics show that under-reading a putt roughly triples your error: miss the read low by a foot and you miss the hole by about three feet, while over-reading by a foot only misses by about six inches. So the low side is far more punishing than the high side.
