Set the trail wrist angle in the backswing
On the way back, Craig Hanson has the trail (right) wrist break back on itself to pick up an angle while the palm points down and away, which he says gets the lead wrist flat and helps keep the shoulders down. A simple feel he gives for it is to point the 'bullseye' away from you as the right hand breaks back on itself.
