Set up chips with a flared lead foot and sternum ahead

The instructor breaks down the chipping setup he likes: keep the right (trail) foot square and flare the left (lead) foot out, which helps you rotate through the ball better. Putting the left hand low keeps the shoulders parallel to the ground (level) instead of dropping the trail shoulder, and the sternum sits just in front of the ball to establish a forward low point. He credits this setup for the success he's getting.
