Prefer a neutral grip over a strong grip
The speaker recommends avoiding too much of a strong grip and moving to more of a neutral grip, since a neutral grip has less of that cupped wrist angle - so at the top you can have a flat wrist without having to think about keeping the wrist cupped as you swing to impact. He acknowledges some players make a strong grip work, naming Zach Johnson and Fred Couples, but calls the cupping a necessary evil of a strong grip.
