The instructor recounts advising Mark McNulty, while preparing for Champions Tour school, on what putt length to practice. He asked how close McNulty hit his approach shots — about 25 to 30 feet — and told him to practice a lot of putts from that range, roughly 25 to 35 feet, to get comfortable seeing those putts go in.
