Lean the shaft forward to compress an iron

To strike an iron solidly, the shaft has to lean forward at impact. The speaker says that forward lean brings the face's loft down and lets you hit down and match the club's center of mass with the ball's, producing compression. He states this applies to short irons and every iron.
