Play upslope short shots by tilting and releasing with slope

On an upslope short-game shot, play the ball further forward in your stance and get your weight forward with your lower body, but keep your upper body tilted back with the slope so the club travels up through it rather than digging in. Match your release to the slope so the club travels with it. Also use less loft than you think — go down to a gap wedge, because too much loft on an upslope just pops the ball straight up.
