Structure practice as block, random, then pressure
The coach lays out three forms of practice to cycle through: block (technical) practice, where you repeat and recheck your basics; random practice, where you throw balls down and play them as they lie, mixing shots to make it harder; and pressure or competitive practice, where you put a score on it to simulate the course. He notes players tend not to do enough of the random practice.
