Pick a wedge by your attack angle and turf

Asked whether golfers should use different wedges for different conditions, the coach says two factors should guide the choice. First, your normal attack angle - whether you deliver the club steep and 'holding on' or you release it too early. Second, where you play most of your golf, since turf conditions vary widely (his examples: Seattle versus Midland, Texas). He frames those two things as where you should start to pick your wedge.
