Keep the trail wrist intact to stop chip flipping
To stop flipping the clubhead through a chip, the coach sets up with the 'lowercase y' arm shape, which creates a slight cupping in the trail wrist at address. He says you should never lose that, and all you have to do is keep that trail wrist intact the whole stroke and there will never be any flipping. He shares this with students to get them hitting it really crisp.
