Get chest ahead of ball, level shoulders for chip-and-run
For a low chip-and-run, a full-shot shoulder tilt makes it difficult to put the low point in front of the ball and hit slightly down. If you hit heavy or thin, there is a good chance the upper body is tilting back even while you try to move weight left. Put a hand on the lead hip, push the pelvis in, level the shoulders, and move the sternum one to one-and-a-half inches ahead of the ball to move the low point forward.
