Set up greenside chip posture with weight left
The instructor gives a few setup keys for greenside chipping and pitching posture. He plays the ball around the middle of the feet and keeps the feet a little closer together, rather than too wide, to help rhythm and balance. For a right-hander he wants the sternum to the left of the ball, achieved by squeezing the right knee toward the left so the sensation is the whole body moving over the left side; he says this helps with a descending strike. He compares the feel to having eggshells under the right foot you would never break, and notes that in this position the hands feel just slightly in front of the ball.
