Pitch the club over each shoulder
Hinge the club upward so it pitches inward near the trail shoulder and becomes almost parallel with the lead arm; the instructor identifies this as how the hands and arms work in the backswing. On the downswing, pitch the club over the lead shoulder so the lead arm sits down instead of popping out.

Framed as a bonus tip after the grip section, done with the club held out in front rather than in a full swing.
