Choose the low spinner over a lob to control into a green
When you have to hit into a green with a lot of slope and need the ball to stop in a particular area, the coach recommends the low spinning wedge over a lob, because it is easier to control a shot that is nearer to the ground than to lob one to a very specific area. The low spinner hits the green, releases a little, and then stops, making it easier to control around the green.
