Don't tee the driver low into the wind
Counterintuitively, the instructor says not to tee the driver low into the wind. Teeing it low and hitting it low on the face produces more spin, so into the wind he leaves the ball at a normal tee height and tries to hit it solid, which produces the ideal spin rate for wind. He never tees a driver low; if anything he tees it higher to catch the ball in the sweet spot.
