Build mechanics with foam balls and no ball flight
When rebuilding mechanics, the instructor removes ball-flight feedback: he turns off the launch monitor, does not let students see where the ball goes, and has them hit foam balls for weeks to make the mechanics amazing. When they finally hit real balls, he says they are astonished at how much farther and straighter they hit it and how much better the shaft lean is.
