Hit the low spinning wedge: cover the ball, swing easy
To hit a low spinning wedge, the coach keeps a normal ball position just around the logo, covers the ball with his chest and stays covering it as he swings back, covering with the left side to get the club into a descending position, with the hands forward to take loft off the club. The swing thought is to swing easy: swinging down and hitting down on the ball puts spin on it, but swinging easier keeps too much spin off, so it comes out lower and finishes just a hair lower.
