Turn shoulders 90° to your spine, not level

For a shoulder-turn exercise, place the club across your chest, get into your posture, and turn your shoulders 90 degrees to your spine, staying on the incline rather than going level. The coach says most golfers tend to turn level and lose their relationship with the golf ball, and that turning on the incline gives what he calls a perfect shoulder turn.
