Use a reverse overlap grip to quiet the wrists
The instructor putts with a reverse overlap grip: all the fingers of the right hand on the putter, with the left index finger laid over the right hand. He points out this is the grip the greats like Tiger and Crenshaw used; it locks the wrist and stops too much wrist movement throughout the stroke.
