Uphill lie hook it, downhill lie cut it
On sloped chips and short shots around the green, use the ball flight the slope wants: with the ball above your feet (uphill) play a hook/draw, and with it below your feet (downhill) play a cut/fade. He notes many players just dump the club straight into the upslope bank and it gets stuck; instead he feels a shallow draw-style shot up the slope.
