Take a 54, don't force a 58, on a long bunker shot
For an around 30-yard bunker shot, use a 54 rather than trying to force a 58. Keep the same setup with the face less open, and let the club and technique send the ball out. Trying to drive the shot can lead to clean or heavy contact.
