Shift wedge ball position to change trajectory

Working through wedge shots, the instructor has the golfer change the flight by moving ball position. With the ball played really far back and the swing directed to the right, the shot comes out flatter and lower; with the ball shoved all the way forward and the swing a little left, it produces right spin. He frames it as getting three different shots by playing around with ball position.
