Shift left hip forward, keep head still for shaft lean
To control the low point of the swing, set up about a fist width away from the ball or training aid. As you move forward through the shot, drive the left hip 10 to 15 centimeters forward while the head moves only one to two centimeters, staying over the ball. Keeping the head over the ball while the hips shift forward is what helps produce shaft lean.
