Write down and drill a routine for every part of your game
Many golfers have a putting routine but no routine for pitching or the rest of their game, and then they get lost and wonder why. Rotella's method: sit down and write out, physically and mentally, your routine for every part of your game, then go practice it. If any other thought gets into your mind or you add an extra waggle, walk away and start over, and drill it until you can do it with every club in the bag every time.
