Shallow a ball-above-feet bunker shot with draw
The instructor rates the ball-above-the-feet bunker lie the toughest, and notes the lie is usually packed with sand. Get shallower and feel a draw rather than fighting the slope, and use a middle wedge like a 54 or 56 rather than the 60, which off this lie is a disaster. Drop the right foot back, play the ball on the left heel, keep the face square (not open) and aim about two to three yards right of the pin. Swing in-to-out for a release two but draw it, and hit it a bit harder because the sand takes speed out, while still taking less sand on a shallower plane.
