Two wedge ball positions for flight control
For his stock wedge the coach likes the ball relative to his feet just a little in front, then leans forward so the ball sits at the center of his body, which lets him stay on top of it and swing through freely. He says moving the ball to the back edge of the sternum is a small change that gets the angle of attack more down for a lower, tighter flight, which he says can be used when dead into the wind to a back pin to control spin.
