Three-step trail-side push into the finish
The instructor breaks the trail-side push into three cues. First, feel a 'stick' running from the right elbow to the right hip and push that stick so the strength goes into the thigh and hip muscles. Second, from the post-impact position, stretch the right arm out toward 10 o'clock. Third, push the right back and shoulder blade (wingbone) through to the finish.

- First, from the right elbow to the right hip, think of it as a stick connected to the bone, and push this stick so the strength goes into the thigh hip muscles.
- Second, the right arm: from the post-impact position, stretch it out to the direction of 10 o'clock.
- Third, the right back and right wingbone: push it to the finish line and go in.
