Chip off an upslope by swinging with the slope
On an uphill greenside lie, avoid the common fault of the club digging into the slope. Play the ball forward, on the left heel, stand a touch wider and don't overdo the shaft lean, then swing the clubhead with the slope so it bruises along it rather than digging in. Light grip pressure and a slight draw feel help shallow the strike.
