Square the club face to de-loft your bunker wedge
As an alternative with the 52, the speaker does the exact same thing except she does not open the club face in the setup, de-lofting the club and hitting it with the same technique; it got fairly close to the flag. She notes the tradeoff: not opening the face removes the bounce, so there is a higher probability the leading edge digs into the sand and gets stuck, and the shot can be hit heavy enough that you may not escape the bunker.
