Keep the chest connection locked

The instructor warns that excessive up-and-down movement makes consistent contact unlikely. After the trail-hand setup, he wants the neck, sternum, chest, and arm connection locked in while the golfer turns around that connection, so the preloaded handle stays ahead without extra thought.

Try it

  1. Do not start moving excessively up and down.
  2. Lock the neck, sternum, chest, and connection in.
  3. Pivot around that motion.
  4. Turn and smash it down the target line.

Why this context matters

This is the contact-stability checkpoint after the pivot concept.
