Turn your head with the ball when chipping

In chipping, the instructor says to turn your head with the golf ball through impact rather than keeping it down as in the full swing. Keeping the head down makes you release the club head, so the ball runs out too much or turns left. Turning the head with the ball gives better control over distance, direction, and spin.
