Keep the lead arm straight on 40-yard wedge backswings
On a 40-yard finesse wedge, letting the lead arm bend so the club gets hingey and vertical in the backswing causes problems. The coach wants the arm staying pretty much straight and the triangle of the arms kept together for a shot of that length.
