Tee it low to eliminate the left miss with driver
When he's driving it badly and wants to eliminate one side of the course — for him the left side — the speaker lowers his tee height to about half of what it normally is. He says that with the driver teed this low it becomes hard to hit a draw or anything that turns right-to-left, so he aims down the left side of the fairway and accepts a slightly lower, shorter shot.
