Strike your six iron two to four degrees down

The instructor says an iron should be struck with a descending blow — generally two to four degrees down with a six iron. In the early stages of changing an upward angle of attack, he suggests trying to live in a zero to minus two window; hitting that should start to produce turf bruising and a shallow divot.
