Tilt your spine toward the target for center-face contact
Saguto teaches 'tilt' as an active side-bend of the spine toward the target through the swing. At address your spine tilts toward the ground, and to keep that same relationship to the ball you actively replace that forward tilt with spine tilt toward the target, rather than just trying to hold your spine angle. He says this active side bending is what keeps your body's relationship to the ball and lets you strike it in the center of the clubface, and he points to Ben Hogan as the model.
