Hit the ground behind your right foot then drag it forward

The instructor teaches an exaggerated-feel drill: from the top, feel like you hit the ground behind your right foot with the club head, then drag the club around to the target. She points out that trying to hit the ground behind the right foot makes it impossible to shoot the trail shoulder forward, keeps the chest shut, and lets the lower body lead. She frames it as an intentionally extreme feel, not a real swing position.

Try it

  1. Go up, then get that club head to the ground behind your right foot
  2. Now start dragging it forward, dragging that club around to the target

Why this context matters

The instructor stresses this is an intentionally exaggerated, extreme feel, not an actual swing position.
