Position a down-the-line swing camera by distance
For a down-the-line swing video, the instructor suggests about 30 feet back is far enough. As a rule of thumb, the farther back the camera is, the closer to the ball line it can sit; the closer the camera has to be to the golfer - for example indoors with a wall about 10 feet behind you - the closer it should be lined up toward the toe line, with the hands parallel and inside the golf ball, between the ball and the toes.
