Trace a left miss to a closed face, not your body

When you miss well left, the cause is almost always the clubface being too closed, not a body-position error. The usual culprits are a grip that has gotten too strong, or a release that fires too fast so the face doesn't stay square down the target line. He frames it as a hands problem to diagnose, and adjusts from there.
