Keep the hanger ring touching through impact
Set the hanger ring a couple of finger widths from the forearm and use its contact as wrist-angle feedback during the swing. Excessive wrist break makes the ring leave the arm; keep it touching the forearm through the ball, then bring it to the other forearm after impact for a neutral-release feel.
