Manage attention like a bucket you fill
The instructor describes attention as a bucket with limited room. Beginners fill it with big "boulders" like setup, holding the club, and finishing with weight forward; as those become automatic they shrink, freeing room to layer in more, such as shaping shots and handling different lies. Amateurs tend to throw too much into the bucket, and going into a tournament adds pressure as one more item, which is why they struggle.
