Pressure-putt routine: breathe, tighten core, hold line
For a big putt under pressure the coach runs a physical routine: get behind the putt, breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth to relieve muscle tension, and keep your eye on your line. Then walk in connecting yourself to that line, tighten the core, and feel like you're pushing down into a scale to lock the body in before softening the arms.

- get behind it, in through the nose, out through the mouth
- relieve that muscle tension
- keep your eye right on your line
- walk in, connecting yourself right to that line
- tighten that core right there
- feel like you're pushing down into a scale when you stand on the ground, like you're pushing down and almost adding weight into that scale
- And then you can soften up those arms
